Description

Atlantic Technology's Dual 6½ in. Two-Way with DVC In-Wall LCR Speaker, IWTS-14LCR-IP-S, features Atlantic's Low Resonance Tweeter LRT, which produces crisp, clear dialogue. With lower quality speakers, you sometimes find yourself turning the volume up to hear your movie's dialogue, and quickly turning the volume back down when you’re bombarded by the music or sound effects. Atlantic Technology's Low Resonance Tweeter (LRT) solves this problem by allowing wider dispersion of the sound field. Atlantic Technology's IWTS-14LCR-IP-S also features the Directional Vector Control, which angles sound downward so you have clean and clear sound even if the in-wall speakers are installed above ear-level.

Specifications

The IWTS-14 LCR-IP combines Atlantic's renowned acoustic performance with the flexibility of being fully compatible with the latest NetStreams IP-addressible whole-house systems. These new IP versions have a two-position switch on the crossover PCB that allows them to be used either as a 'regular' Atlantic in-wall speaker, connected with speaker wire to the terminals as usual, or you can connect them to a NetStreams system by using the on-board Phoenix connector.

However, this enhanced system compatibility does not come at the expense of basic acoustic performance. Quite the contrary--these speakers share virtually all of the advanced design and engineering features of our much-lauded IWCB Closed-Box in-walls.

Resonant-free MDF baffles, wide-dispersion Low Resonance Tweeters, and our exclusive Directional Vector Control means that the 7 and 14 LCR-IP stand well above the ordinary.

And to make things as convenient as possible, the grille/frame assembly for the IWTS-14 LCR (the GFR-525) is packaged and sold separately, to maximize the convenience and timing of the installation.
